João Vale

João Vale's work experience includes their current position as Head of Risk at SONAE FS, starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they were Head of Credit Risk at Cofidis Portugal from October 2016 to November 2020. João also worked as an Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa from January 2014 to June 2017. Before that, they held the role of Risk Specialist at Cofidis from September 2012 to September 2016. In addition, they worked as a Structuring and Credit Securitization - Business analyst at Banco Espírito Santo from July 2011 to August 2012. João began their career at Deloitte, where they served as a Consultant from September 2009 to May 2011, and as an Analyst from September 2008 to August 2009.

João Vale earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Mathematics to Economics and Management from Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão in 2008. João then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2012.
