Ryan Clanton

Ryan Clanton, PhD, is the Director of Device Development at SonALAsense, a position held since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles at INSIGHTEC, where Ryan served as Project Lead and Clinical R&D Specialist in Neurosurgery from February 2018 to May 2023. Earlier engagements include an internship at Voyager Biomedical focused on CAD design for medical devices and research assistance at Texas A&M University in various capacities, including nanoparticle synthesis and mentorship of undergraduate researchers. Ryan's research experience also includes a NASA internship related to gene expression analysis and work with the Inspiration Mars Foundation on solar proton penetration calculations. Ryan holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and a B.S. in Radiological Health Engineering from Texas A&M University.
