Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Mark currently holds the position of President & CFO at Sonar Software starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Gimmal where they served as CFO / COO from March 2022 to December 2022, Chief Executive Officer from January 2020 to March 2022, and President from January 2017 to January 2020.

Before joining Gimmal, Mark worked at Personify Corp as Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operating Officer from August 2015 to January 2017, and as Chief Financial Officer from March 2014 to July 2015. Mark also served as Chief Financial Officer at Q2 from August 2012 to December 2013, and at SumTotal Systems, Inc. from July 2011 to July 2012.

Earlier in their career, Mark Johnson held the position of Vice President & Business Unit CFO at BMC Software from December 2005 to July 2011. Mark also worked at IBM in finance and pricing from April 2001 to December 2005, and at Dell in finance from October 1999 to April 2001.

Mark's work experience includes a role in finance at Sterling Commerce from November 1994 to October 1999. Mark began their career at Sears (Retail & Credit) where they held sales and management positions from 1986 to 1994.

Mark Johnson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University from 1988 to 1992. Mark then pursued further education and obtained an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 1994 to 1996.
