Casey Woolley has an extensive work history, beginning with a Graphic Designer role for the BYU Bookstore in 1999. In 2002, Woolley moved to a Graphic Designer role for the United Way of Utah County. In 2003, Woolley became a Media Specialist for BYU. In 2010, Woolley founded Frog Spots Media Production. In 2016, Woolley held two roles, a Mobile Engineer for SpoutCast and a Senior Principal Software Engineer for Dell. In 2019, Woolley became the Founder of Fairground. Woolley currently holds the role of Senior Software Engineer for Sonar.

Casey Woolley attended Brigham Young University from 1999 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Animation, 3D emphasis. In 2015, they attended Hack Reactor to pursue a degree in Full Stack Web Development and Computer Software Engineering. They also obtained a Full Stack Web Development degree from Free Code Camp in 2015. In October 2020, they received a Triplebyte Certified Front End Engineer certification from Triplebyte.
