Kosinski is a gastroenterologist, inventor, serial entrepreneur, and podcast host who has led initiatives in value-based care. They founded SonarMD in 2016 and served as Chief Medical Officer there through 2024, developing a web-based patient engagement platform that reduced hospitalization rates for patients with inflammatory bowel disease and secured funding from the Blue Cross Venture Partner Fund and Arboretum Ventures. Kosinski currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of Jona (2024–Present) and as Founder and Chief Medical Officer of VOCnomics (2022–Present), and sits on the American Gastroenterological Association board (Board Member, 2022–Present) as well as the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (2022–Present). Previously, Kosinski was the Managing Partner at Illinois Gastroenterology Group (2010–2019) and served on Advocate Sherman Hospital's Board of Directors (2009–2017). Kosinski earned an MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine (1975–1978) and an MBA in Healthcare Business from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management (1996–1998).
