Cynthia Bethea

Cynthia Bethea is a seasoned professional in technical writing with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently, Cynthia serves as a Software Technical Writer at Sonar since June 2022. Prior roles include Senior Technical Writer at 10x Banking, Technical Writer at disguise, and Documentation Officer at Nexudus, among others. Cynthia has also worked as a Contract Software Developer at Rackspace, Faculty Fellow at the University of Rhode Island, and Junior Lecturer at Université de Lausanne. In addition to technical writing, Cynthia has held positions such as Finance Chair for the ISCB Student Council and has a robust academic background, including a PhD in Applied Mathematical Sciences and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island. Cynthia's educational foundation is further strengthened by a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the same institution.
