Simon Heimlicher

Simon Heimlicher is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at SonarSource SA, Simon oversees critical product offerings utilized by major corporations and open-source organizations globally. Prior to this role, Simon founded CraftFinal, focusing on AI-driven document creation solutions. As the Chief Information Officer at Basler Kantonalbank, Simon successfully executed a four-year IT strategy while enhancing digital capabilities and reducing expenses. Simon also held significant roles at UBS, where project management efforts led to substantial improvements in client experience and operational efficiency. Simon holds both a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zürich.
