Derek Collard

Derek Collard possesses a diverse background in hospitality and community service roles, currently serving as a Hospitality Agent at Sonder Inc. since October 2022. Previous experience includes positions such as Barista at The Gathering Coffee Co. and Ashe Supply Co., Customer Service Staff at Floyd, and Reservations Agent at Shinola Hotel, demonstrating a strong skill set in customer relations and service. Prior to these roles, Derek contributed to community-focused initiatives, having worked as a Program Services Administrator at United Way of Northern California and as a Junior High Youth Pastor at The Stirring Church. Derek has a background in program development and public relations from time spent with Hard Places Community and has engaged in campus ministry as an intern at His House Christian Fellowship. Educational qualifications include a degree from Central Michigan University and a high school diploma from Henry Ford II High School.
