Amber R. has a diverse work experience in the field of therapy and mental health. Amber is currently working as a Business Development Representative at MedTrainer since June 2022. Previously, they owned and operated a remote psychotherapy practice called Inspired Therapy Studios, LLC, where they incorporated art, play, and nature to inspire well-being. During this time, they developed a website, authored content, created visuals, and performed ongoing research. Before that, Amber worked as a Mental Health Therapist at SonderMind, where they reached out to prospective referrals, provided intake and diagnosis, and offered ongoing psychotherapy services. Amber also worked as an Early Childhood Services Therapist at Community Reach Center, where they provided trauma-informed, strengths-based, child-centered creative arts and play therapy to children ages 0-12. Additionally, they treated adult pregnancy-related depression using mindfulness techniques, psychodynamic processing, and CBT. Amber also has experience working as a Creative Arts Therapist at Children's Hospital Colorado, where they provided various therapy techniques to patients across all units. Amber also worked as a Mental Health Counselor Float, supporting patients overnight in specialized care units and pioneered an employee resource manual for counselors and nurses. Furthermore, Amber has experience as an Artist at Painting with a Twist, leading painting classes and creating original artwork for marketing display. Amber has also worked as an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Community Reach Center, maintaining a caseload of over 70 individual clients and developing specialized therapy groups. Prior to that, Amber worked as an Activities Leader at Aaron Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a Play Therapy Intern at the Play Therapy Center for Children and Families, and an Art Therapy Intern at Pittsford Central Schools.

Amber R. has a diverse educational background. Amber holds a Master of Science degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Nazareth College. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at the State University of New York at Fredonia, where they double majored in Art History and Drawing. Amber also pursued a minor in Anthropology during their undergraduate studies. In addition, Amber R. completed 18 credits in the Sculpture program of the Master of Fine Arts program at the University at Albany, SUNY.

Amber R. has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. Amber received a BDR/SDR Certification from Sales Assembly in November 2022. In June 2022, they became a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional through Evergreen Certifications. In May 2021, they completed the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate offered by the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Furthermore, they hold a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, obtained in September 2015.

Amber R. also has professional certifications in their field. Amber is an Art Therapist Registered - Board Certified (ATR-BC) through the Art Therapy Credentials Board, Inc. Additionally, they hold licenses as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, and as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) from the Association for Play Therapy.
