Tanya Roach

Manager Of Credentialing at SonderMind

Tanya Roach has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tanya started their career as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher at Langston English Language Center from 2010 to 2011, and later at EF English First from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they interned at Kitovu Mobile AIDS Organization.

From 2014 to 2016, Tanya worked as a Sales Manager at Southside Salmon and as a Front Desk Receptionist at Nomads Noosa. In 2015, they also worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Lawtons Drugs, where they assisted with drug inventory and customer service.

From 2017 to 2021, Tanya joined Lorna Lally DMD as a Dental Receptionist, Communications Manager, and Insurance Reconciliation Specialist. Tanya implemented systems to monitor revenue, streamlined office procedures, and provided assistance to patients.

In 2019, Tanya took on roles at two different companies. Tanya worked as a Dental Claims Support Processor at Moda Health, where they manually processed claims and maintained professionalism when communicating with stakeholders. Tanya also worked as a Dock Representative and Shop Assistant at Snorkel Alaska, managing tour counts, assisting guests, and reconciling tickets.

Most recently, Tanya joined SonderMind in 2021 as a Credentialing Associate, where they facilitated the credentialing process for new providers. Tanya was then promoted to Credentialing Team Lead in 2021, and currently serves as Associate Manager since February 2022. In their current role, they manage a team of Credentialing specialists, oversees insurance networks, and leads process improvement initiatives.

Tanya Roach completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology and Sociology from the University of the Fraser Valley, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. Tanya then pursued a TEFL Certificate from the Langston English Language Center in the year 2010, completing it in 2011. In addition to their degrees, Tanya also earned a certification in "The Challenges of Global Poverty" from edX in January 2013.
