Josh Hubert has worked as a Test Automation Engineer intern at Sonera Magnetics, Inc. from Summer 2021 to Spring 2022, where they designed and coded an automated procedure in Python to take characterization data on Sonera's prototype magnetic field sensor and performed experimental design, CAD for 3D printing, and general lab technician work. Josh has also worked as a Math Tutor at Foothill College from May 2018 to June 2020, as a Lab Intern at Sonera Magnetics, Inc. from July 2019 to September 2019, and as a Behavioral Interventionist at ACES from March 2017 to January 2018. Additionally, they have worked as a Projects Assistant at The Root Solutions from March 2016 to September 2016, where they performed various communications tasks such as researching and summarizing pertinent psychological studies and case studies of marketing campaigns. Lastly, they have worked as a Zero Waste Outreach Summer Intern at City of Palo Alto from June 2015 to September 2015 and as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's from September 2014 to February 2015. At Trader Joe's, they personally drafted a strategic plan for improving store-wide waste diversion and was responsible for rounding up unsellable donatable perishable foods for donation and breaking down non-donatable food waste into separate waste streams.
Josh Hubert attended Menlo-Atherton High School from 2006-2010 and completed their high school education there. Josh went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley from 2010-2014 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. From 2018-2020 they attended Foothill College where they completed an Associate of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Math and Computer Science. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at UC Irvine and is scheduled to graduate in 2022.
