We aim to broaden the children's horizons, assisting them to gain the skills that enable them to cope with the challenges that life throws at them. Our program is based in the heart of Kayamandi in Stellenbosch, and uses sport and education to provide opportunities for children to play, grow and learn. We aim to give them a safe, nurturing and encouraging environment that supports their  personal development. 

Founded in 2008 by the World Champion Mountainbiker Christoph Sauser and a Kayamandi community leader Songo Fipaza, our organization had a profound impact on vulnerable youth for more than 10 years. Kayamandi is one of the oldest townships in the Western Cape, and has a vibrant community of predominantly Xhosa-speakers. 

Education is our core focus, making extensive use of digital learning as well as specialised tutors to ensure that children don't fall through the cracks. Afterwards, we offer financial support and internship opportunities within the Songo.info supporters' community as a tertiary education support. 

The cycling programme introduces the kids to BMX riding and mountain riding with daily coached sessions on our BMX track and a specially created riding programme for girls. We also provide opportunities for those kids who want to pit their skills against others in a competitive environment, on a regional and national stage.
