Patrick van der Valk has diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Patrick is the Founder of Wijnbelevenis, a role they held from 2004 to 2007. Patrick then served as the CSMO/Managing Director at CleanPort from an unspecified starting date until 2011. Following this, they worked as the CSOO (Chief Strategic Operations Officer) at Avira GmbH from 2010 to 2011. van der Valk then joined WOT Services Oy, where they served as a Member of the Board from 2011 to 2013. In 2012, they became the Chairman of the Board at Stichting SPOTS, an NGO for endangered big cats, a role they held until 2016. Patrick was also a Co-Owner at Junior Einstein BV from 2013 to 2015 and the Head of Benelux Market at Nixu Corporation from 2015 to 2020. Furthermore, they served as the Operation Director at Strict from 2020 to 2020. Most recently, van der Valk became the CEO of SonicBee in December 2020. Patrick van der Valk attended RSG Lochem Atheneum from 1980 to 1986, where they completed their secondary education. Afterward, from 1986 to 1991, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. In 1991, they enrolled at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) for a one-year program in Bedrijfskundige Economie. In 1998 and 1999, Patrick attended Nyenrode Business University to study PdP Bedrijfskunde, although no specific degree was mentioned.
