Derek T. serves as the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Sonicboom Solutions since August 2016, where the focus is on enabling open payment cashless solutions for parking. With extensive experience in the payment systems sector, Derek has also held advisory roles in companies developing all-in-one cashless payment devices for unattended machines. Prior to Sonicboom, Derek co-founded Longbow Technologies S/B, managing business development, operations, and strategic management for enterprise solutions, leading a team to successfully implement numerous projects for public and large organizations. Derek's earlier roles also include co-founding and technical lead positions in various technology startups and software development companies. Educationally, Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Coventry University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Charles Sturt University, and participated in the MaGIC e@Stanford Program focused on entrepreneurship at Stanford University.
