Larry Guterman has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Larry started their career as a Director of Sequences for DreamWorks Animation, working on the film "Antz" from 1996 to 1998. Larry then moved on to work as a Director for Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies, where they directed the film "Cats & Dogs" from 1999 to 2001. The film was a commercial success, grossing $201 million worldwide.

In 2001, Guterman joined Miramax as a Director for the feature film "Artemis Fowl", based on a popular kids' book franchise. Larry supervised script development and oversaw pre-production visual development of concept art and storyboards. Larry later worked as a Director for New Line Cinema, directing the theatrical feature film "Son of the Mask" from 2002 to 2005. The film had a successful theatrical and DVD release, generating over $100 million in revenue.

Guterman then joined Hazy Mills Productions in 2007 as a Director and Co-Executive Producer for a series starring Sean Hayes. However, the series was interrupted by the entertainment industry strike in late 2007. Larry also worked as a Director for New Regency Productions in 2008.

In 2009, Guterman became a Director and consultant for Animation Lab's project "Wild Bunch". Larry then joined Adult Swim in 2010 as a Director and Supervising Director for the animated series "Mongo Wrestling Alliance". During their time at Adult Swim, they were recruited to redirect the pilot and multiple episodes.

Guterman's most recent role was as a Director and Executive Producer for Obsidian Media from 2010 to 2012. Overall, their work experience showcases their talent and expertise as a director in both film and television. In 2012, they co-founded SonicCloud.

Larry Guterman attended Harvard University from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics. Larry then pursued further education at the University of Southern California from 1990 to 1995, earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Film Production. Prior to this, from 1982 to 1983, they also attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, but information about their degree and field of study during this period is unavailable.
