Eva Steele is the Co-Founder at Amytis Ltd, where Eva is developing a digital lab notebook for bioscientists. Prior to this, Eva was a PHD Student at The University of Edinburgh, working on a project focusing on lignin valorisation. Additionally, Eva has experience as a Researcher at Bio-Sep, gaining insights into industrial-based research. Their educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology and Biochemistry, as well as a degree in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Plant Science and Plant Molecular Biology. Sonichem

Sonichem biorefinery technology, developed by Bio-Sep is an ultra-clean way to convert low-value woody biomass (e.g. sawdust) into high-value green chemicals lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose sugars. The technology is being demonstrated on an industrial-scale pilot plant, whilst the company are developing plans to design and build a commercial biorefinery in the year ahead.
