Denis Branco

Denis Branco has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Denis is currently serving as the Executive Vice President at SonicWall, responsible for leading the Cloud Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations, IT Services, and Information Systems teams. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President at SonicWall, where they led the Cloud Platform Engineering and Cloud Operations teams.

Before joining SonicWall, Denis worked at Ping Identity as the Senior Director, leading the Software Engineering and DevOps teams for PingOne Advanced Services and PingOne for Government. Denis also led the Cloud Your Way - Your Cloud Team, which focused on leveraging modern cloud automation and orchestration capabilities.

In their earlier years, Denis worked at Travelport as the Director of Software Engineering, overseeing the technical direction and design of content acquisition and distribution APIs. Denis was also responsible for iterative development and delivery in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

Denis started their career at IBM, where they held various roles including Senior Manager of IBM Cloud Messaging DevOps, Software Engineer, and Level 2 Technical Support. Denis also has experience working at Apple as an AOS (Apple Online Store) Order Support and as a Technical Consultant at an unspecified company. Throughout their career, Denis has demonstrated expertise in leading teams, implementing DevSecOps practices, and managing cloud platforms.

Denis Branco earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Santa Cecília, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained various certifications throughout their career, including certifications in cybersecurity, teaching, and system administration from IBM. Denis also received certifications from LinkedIn in personal branding, professional goal achievement, emotional intelligence, and transitioning to a career in cybersecurity. Moreover, Denis obtained certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc. in multiple areas, including Agilist, DevOps Practitioner, Practitioner, and Product Owner/Product Manager under the SAFe® 5 framework.
