Eric Xu has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering, with a particular focus on phone and electronics design. Eric started their career at Delta Electronics as a Mechanical Engineer from 1999 to 2001. Eric then joined Palm PC Technology Co., Ltd as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2001 to 2004. Eric proceeded to work at Nolato as a Mechanical Design Leader from 2006 to 2008, where they led projects with Sonyericsson and ESI. Eric later joined Jabil as a Lead Mechanical Engineer from 2008 to 2012, where they worked on JRD/ODM projects with Nokia, Sony, and Motorola. Eric then moved to Nokia as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Chief Designer from 2012 to 2014, where they handled phone level and detailed concept design. Eric worked at Microsoft from 2014 to 2015 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Chief Designer. Currently, Eric is serving as a Mechanical Project Leader at Sonim Technologies, where they successfully launched the XP8 flagship phone.
