John Metz

John Metz has over 39 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, holding key management roles in various reputable companies. Currently serving as Customer Acceptance Manager at Sonim Technologies since November 2011, John has successfully led customer acceptance testing for major telecom operators. Prior to this, John was VP of US Lab and Field Test Services at P3 Communications, where responsibilities included establishing a new office and developing mobile device testing services. John’s extensive background also includes a Senior Engineering Manager position at Ericsson Mobile Platforms, where oversight of interoperability testing and budget management was critical. Earlier roles at Ericsson included Engineering Manager and Senior Technical Leader, with a focus on mobile network performance and customer support. John Metz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
