Deepak Prakash

Deepak Prakash has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Deepak is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Sonio since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Verizon Media from March 2018 to March 2021, where they held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at AlephD. AlephD was acquired by AOL in 2016, which later became Verizon Media. Previously, Deepak worked as a Software Architect at AlephD from November 2014 to March 2018, where they played a crucial role in the development of disruptive technology for digital publishers. Deepak was responsible for various aspects like big data pipelines, database optimizations, API backends, UI, SSO, integrations with third parties, and product security. Before that, Deepak founded Zoomdeck Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and served as the Founder and CTO from November 2011 to April 2014. Deepak successfully developed a prototype and launched an iOS app during this period. Deepak also gained valuable experience at Apache Design Solutions as a Senior R&D Engineer and Software Engineer from October 2009 to November 2011 and May 2007 to September 2009, respectively. Their responsibilities involved designing, developing, and optimizing physical layout modeling engines, implementing advanced data structures and algorithms, and creating advanced feature sets. Deepak started their career as an Associate Software Engineer at SSA Global from July 2006 to May 2007.

Deepak Prakash completed their Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology from 2002 to 2006. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Model Engineering College.
