Luis Mendes

Luis Mendes is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in advanced audio, hearing health, fuel cell manufacturing, and parts fabrication. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Sonion since January 2021, Mendes previously held roles such as Lead Engineer at Ceres Power and Engineering Manager at Embraer. With a background that includes senior positions in process development and integration at companies like Xaar, Nanium, S.A., KEMET, EPCOS, and CEMOP - FCT/UNL, Mendes has demonstrated expertise in R&D, process engineering, and quality system management. Mendes earned a Licence Degree in Materials Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
