Anders Wold

Mr. Wold has over 40 years of leadership experience in the medical technology industry from an ultrasound start-up to a multinational conglomerate company. Most recently he was Business Development and Strategic Advisor to GE Healthcare President and CEO. From 2009 to 2021 Mr. Wold was President & CEO of GE Healthcare's Global Clinical Care Solution business unit with annual sales of $USD 5 billion, over 5,000 employees and included Ultrasound, Patient Monitoring and other products. He began his career as a founding employee of Norway-based Vingmed AS, which became a market leader in cardiac ultrasound. Mr. Wold joined GE in 1998 through the acquisition of Diasonics/Vingmed Ultrasound and held multiple executive positions. He built an agile, world-leading, user-centric design team that launched more than 20 new products every year and took GE Healthcare to a highly profitable, clear leadership position creating new growth markets. Currently, Mr. Wold also sits on the board of EXACT-Tx, a clinical stage Norwegian biotech company developing ultrasound – based targeted therapies. Mr. Wold graduated from the Norwegian Military Academy and the Norwegian School of Sports Science. He received his BSc in Biomedical Electronics from the University of Salford, UK, and business degree from BI, Oslo School of Economics.
