Robert A. Chernow

Mr. Chernow is Founder and President of Educational Services for Entrepreneurship, a nonprofit organization assisting universities and small enterprises in shaping their entrepreneurship initiatives. Mr. Chernow has had a 40 year career in entrepreneurship and health care: he has served as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Norwalk Community College in Norwalk, CT; Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship and Clinical Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI); Senior Vice President and head of entrepreneurship at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation; the Founder and President of two major health care IT companies, one domestic and one international (Corporate Health Strategies and World Specialists Online); President of two major health care companies (MetLife's Managed Care Group and The New York Presbyterian Health Care System); a Global Health Care Partner for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Brazil.

Mr. Chernow has been a guest lecturer at universities including MIT, Stanford, and the Harvard Business School, as well as the U.N. Business Council and the organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). He earned a BA in Economics from Colgate University, and a MPH in Health Care Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and did his doctoral work in epidemiology and public health at Yale.
