Ralf Plieninger

Ralf Plieninger has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ralf began their career as a Researcher at Mitsubishi Electric in 1994. Ralf then joined Infineon Technologies Austria AG in 2001 as the Director of Technology and Product Engineering. In 2003, they moved to Infineon Technologies AG, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Director of Technology and Senior Director of System in Package. Ralf joined Q-Cells SE in 2008 and served as the Director and later as the Senior Vice President of Planning and Supply Chain. In 2017, they joined DEUTZ AG as the Senior Vice President of Electrification. In 2019, they left DEUTZ AG and joined Torqeedo as the COO, CTO, and Geschäftsführer. After a decade at Torqeedo, they moved to sonnen GmbH in 2022, where they currently serve as the CTO and Geschäftsführer.

Ralf Plieninger completed their PhD in Semiconductor Physics from the University of Stuttgart, a degree they pursued from 1988 to 1995. Prior to this, Ralf attended Arndt Gymnasium Krefeld, although the specific dates and details of this education are unavailable.
