Alvaro Ribeiro

Alvaro Ribeiro has extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Alvaro started as an Information System Specialist at the Ministry of Finance of Portugal in 1995 and worked as an Information System Auditor at Inspecção-Geral de Finanças from 1996 to 1997. In 1998, they joined Altice Portugal as a System and Database Administrator and became a Billing Manager in 1999. Alvaro worked for WeDo Technologies starting in 2001, where they held various roles, including Senior Manager/Principal, Vice President Asia Pacific, Vice President Global Professional Services, and Chief Technology Officer. In 2020, they joined Mobileum as the CTO of the Risk Management BU. Currently, they serve as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at SONOC, starting in February 2022.

Alvaro Ribeiro holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Departamento de Engenharia Informática at the Universidade de Coimbra. Alvaro later earned a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same institution in 1995. In 2005, Alvaro completed a post-graduate program in Business Administration and Management at the Nova School of Business and Economics.
