Ben Ragan

Ben Ragan is an experienced professional with a strong background in process improvement and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Leader in Process Improvement at Sonoco since February 2013, Ragan has held multiple key positions including Plant Manager and Process Engineer IV. Contributions at Sonoco include leading continuous improvement initiatives, managing capital projects, and implementing performance measurement systems. Prior experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Moen, where Ragan focused on process engineering support for multiple departments and successfully facilitated lean projects. Earlier roles at Armstrong World Industries encompassed value stream ownership and industrial engineering, contributing to significant cost savings through lean transformation efforts. Ragan holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mercer University.
