George Kolesar

George Kolesar, CSP, has extensive experience in safety and environmental health management across various industries. Currently serving as Safety Manager for the Paper Division North America at Sonoco since May 2017, Kolesar has previously held leadership roles including Global Director EHS at Ampco-Pittsburgh and EHS Manager at Akers National Roll Co, where responsibilities included managing EH&S processes for multiple operational areas. Kolesar's career further includes positions such as Director EHS Industrial at Harsco Corporation and Manager of Safety and Health at ATI Allegheny Ludlum, alongside earlier roles at DaimlerChrysler, Owens Corning, Rubbermaid Home Products, and ITT Goulds Pumps. George Kolesar earned a Bachelor of Science in Safety Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, completing the degree in 1987.
