Heather Brownley

Heather Brownley, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Analyst in SEC Reporting at Sonoco, where responsibilities include the preparation and drafting of SEC filings such as the 10-K and 10-Q. Prior to this role, Heather accumulated extensive experience at Donnelley Financial Solutions, starting as an XBRL Senior Financial Reporting Specialist and later becoming an XBRL Consultant, assisting clients with the XBRL process and managing multiple projects. Heather's career also includes significant tenure at EY, progressing from Staff Auditor to Audit Manager, where Heather led financial statement audits for both SEC registrants and privately held companies. Heather holds a Master's degree in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
