Jim Batchelor has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as the Associate Director of Engineering PP&FS at Sonoco since August 2001. In addition to this role, Jim holds the position of Engineering Projects Manager and previously led the Regional/Controls Engineering Group at Sonoco Products Company. Prior experience includes working at Applied Industrial Automation as a Control Systems Integration specialist from January 1990 to May 1999, and as an Automation Specialist at Maddux Supply Company from January 1986 to December 1989. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University between 1982 and 1986.
