Jimmy Bowers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and process improvement. Currently serving as the Director of Global SPS at Sonoco since November 2016, Jimmy Bowers specializes in training and mentoring leaders on zero-based loss reduction and key performance indicators, utilizing Continuous Improvement methodologies. Previous roles include Area Operations Manager and Corporate SPS Practitioner at Sonoco, where responsibilities involved strategic planning and Lean-Six Sigma support. Prior to Sonoco, Jimmy Bowers held positions such as Manager of Technology at Process Technology International LLC and various operational roles at Gerdau Long Steel North America. Jimmy Bowers holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Jacksonville University.
