Jon Palmer, PE, PMP, currently serves as the Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) at Sonoco, a position held since May 2017, and has held various roles within the company including Associate Director of PMO and Global Leadership Development Manager. Prior to Sonoco, Jon Palmer was the Director of Engineering and Project Management at Dinamec Systems, Inc. / Cobb Industrial Fabricators from June 2015 to May 2017. Earlier in Jon Palmer's career, roles included Engineer IV, Engineer III, and Engineer II at Gerdau Long Steel North America from October 2002 to June 2015, as well as Assistant Project Manager at Trammell Crow Company from 1999 to 2001. Jon Palmer earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2002.
