Lindsay Leonard

Lindsay Leonard currently serves as a Maintenance Manager at Sonoco, where responsibilities include managing capital and expense projects, supporting process optimization in the power plant, and overseeing project budgets. Prior roles at Sonoco include Power Project Engineer, Project Horizon Maintenance Excellence Leader, and Process Engineer, contributing to system reliability and maintenance cost management for substantial new equipment installations and various capital projects within the power department. Earlier experiences include positions as a Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University, Process Engineering Interns at Sonoco and WestRock Company, a Project Engineering Co-op at Kimberly-Clark, and a Field Service Engineering Intern at EDT-Enzymatic Deinking Technologies. Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Paper Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and participated in undergraduate research at the Georgia Institute of Technology, presenting findings at the NSF conference.
