Matt Moore

Matt Moore is a seasoned professional in talent management and safety, currently serving as Vice President of Talent Management & Safety at Sonoco since September 2016. Previous roles include Global Director of Safety and Senior Director of Safety and Security at Sonoco. Prior experience encompasses positions such as EHS Director for Harsco Corporation, where oversight included environmental management for over 200 locations globally, and various safety roles at Gerdau Long Steel North America, including Corporate Director of Safety & Health. Matt Moore's career began with key safety and environmental roles at United States Steel Corporation, LTV Steel, Avery Dennison, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati and an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Protection from The University of Akron.
