Michael Massenburg

Michael Massenburg is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and manufacturing within the packaging industry. Currently serving as the Division Operational Excellence Leader at Sonoco since January 2018, Massenburg drives continuous improvement across the Metal Packaging business unit, overseeing 12 facilities nationwide. Prior roles at Sonoco include Production Manager, Plant Quality Manager, and Production Supervisor, where Massenburg excelled in managing production processes and enhancing quality standards. Additionally, Massenburg completed a Human Resources internship at Phillips Staffing and developed mechanical engineering skills through internships at JTEKT North America Corporation. Massenburg holds a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management from Clemson University.
