Michael Scorza

Michael Scorza is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in plant management and manufacturing. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Sonoco since July 2023, Michael previously held leadership roles at Sealed Air Corporation where responsibilities included oversight of the extrusion department and managing safety, quality, and production KPIs. Prior experience at GE Power encompassed roles as Senior Operations Manager and Lead Production Supervisor, focusing on turbine blade and power nozzle coatings, along with leading a team in rotor machining operations. Michael’s career also includes a comprehensive training tenure in GE’s Operations Management Leadership Program, emphasizing Lean manufacturing and project management. Michael holds an M.B.A. from Clemson University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University.
