Vito De Leonardis is currently the Project & Continuous Improvement Manager at Sonoco, leveraging extensive experience in manufacturing, quality management, and technical development. They began their career as a process engineer in the aluminum manufacturing sector and have since transitioned through various roles, including Engineering Manager and Manufacturing Manager, in the steel packaging industry. Vito has a solid background in project management, process improvement, and cross-functional team management across multiple European locations, backed by a cumulative nine years of professional experience. They hold a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and are currently pursuing further studies at Politecnico di Torino.
