Heather Saffer is a versatile entrepreneur and author with extensive experience in the food industry and small business development. Currently serving as Co-Founder of G-Works Venture Studio at General Mills, and Entrepreneur in Residence at Launch NY, Saffer also provides valuable insights as a Business Advisor for various Small Business Development Centers. Notable ventures include co-founding Yonderplate, Inc. and participating in The Food Foundry, a growth accelerator for innovative startups. Saffer has authored cookbooks published by Sterling Publishing and Simon & Schuster, showcasing vegan and gluten-free desserts and gourmet frosting recipes, respectively. As a result of the no cost, extensive, one-on-one professional business advising, low-cost training SBDC clients receive, the program is one of the nation’s largest small business assistance programs in the federal government.
