Doug Eisinger

Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist, Transportation Policy and Planning

Doug Eisinger is the Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist for Transportation Policy and Planning at Sonoma Technology, Inc., where they have worked since 1995. They have served as chair of the U.S. Transportation Research Board's Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Committee and held several academic positions, including adjunct faculty roles at the University of Hawaii and Vermont Law and Graduate School. Eisinger is recognized for their contributions to environmental science, receiving a Fellowship in Environmental Regulatory Implementation from Resources for the Future and a Bronze Medal from the U.S. EPA for reducing automotive pollution. They hold multiple degrees, including a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a PhD in Environmental Policy Analysis from Aberystwyth University, and have authored a notable book on air quality policy.
