Gustavo Cota

Gustavo Cota has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and related roles. Gustavo began their career at Motorola Nogales in 2007, where they worked as an engineer responsible for updating databases and debugging lists of materials for electronic components. Gustavo then moved on to SISON in 2009, where they worked as a programmer, integrating JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and external APIs using VisualBasic.NET. In 2010, Gustavo joined Divertimex SA de CV as a technician and system manager, performing maintenance and repair tasks for computers, ensuring the proper functioning of servers, and analyzing data. In 2011, they joined Novutek as a software engineer, working on programming projects using Java, Eclipse, GXT (ExtJS + GWT), and Hibernate. Gustavo provided support for a North American company's proprietary programming languages. In 2012, Gustavo became a professor at Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they gained teaching experience in the field of software. In 2014, Gustavo joined CBMWARE as a software engineer, where they worked until April 2022, developing software projects. Most recently, they have been employed at Pinnacle Aerospace Inc and Sonora Software since 2016 as a software engineer.
