Dayong Zhou

Dayong Zhou is an accomplished Principal Audio DSP Architect at Sonos, Inc., focused on innovative audio technologies since August 2022. Prior to this role, Dayong Zhou spent 15 years at Cirrus Logic, where expertise included senior staff-level positions emphasizing time frequency modeling, nonlinear system applications in acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) and active noise cancellation (ANC), along with the development of diverse audio DSP algorithms. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Oklahoma, where involvement in linear and nonlinear system modeling and teaching embedded system design contributed to a robust academic background. Dayong Zhou earned a Ph.D. in DSP from the University of Oklahoma, completing the degree in 2005.
