Jonathan Kim is a skilled electrical engineer with extensive experience in power electronics and product development. Currently serving as a Sr. Electrical Engineer at Sonos, Inc., Jonathan leads the design of high-power power supply sections and has successfully developed prototypes with a failure rate of less than 1%. Prior to this, Jonathan worked as a Research and Development Scientist at Northeastern University, where notable achievements included the design of a 1kW DC to three-phase inverter and improvements in non-inverting buck-boost converter efficiency. Jonathan also has experience in arc fault protection device development at Mersen and has held various academic and instructional roles, including leading a project design at Boston University for a solar power prototype. Jonathan holds a PhD in Power Electronics and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University and Boston University, respectively.
