Qian Dong

Qian Dong is an experienced acoustical engineer currently employed at Sonos, Inc. since May 2023, where responsibilities include transducer design and acoustic-structural interaction analysis utilizing tools such as Polytec LDV and Klippel scn. Prior to this role, Qian worked at Goertek Electronics from August 2021 to May 2023 focusing on small pressure transducers and served as a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from November 2019 to July 2020, contributing to the development of calibration methods for pressure transducers. Qian earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University in 2021, a Master's degree in Material Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Technology from Taiyuan University of Technology in 2013.
