William Shoesmith

William Shoesmith is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in software and firmware development. As of August 2015, William has held multiple titles at Sonos, Inc., including Distinguished Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, Software Development Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, William served as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Quanttus from January 2014 to July 2015 and worked as CTO/Lead Embedded Engineer at Trovare, Inc. from December 2011 to May 2013, where the company focused on innovative social networking solutions. Additional experience includes tenure as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Mueller Systems and as a Software Engineer at ArKion Systems, a startup acquired by Mueller. William holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
