Katie Benthall

Associate Director at SonoThera

Katie Benthall is currently the Associate Director and Senior Scientist at SonoThera, with previous experience as a Senior Scientist at CODA Biotherapeutics. During their time at UC Berkeley Molecular and Cell Biology, Katie worked on their PHD investigating the effects of autism spectrum disorder risk gene mutations in mice. As an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Katie focused on investigating organization and regeneration of the injured trigeminal system and spinal cord in larval lampreys. Katie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
