Jakob Widauer

Jakob Widauer is an experienced engineer specializing in embedded software and robotics. Currently serving as an Embedded Software Engineer at Sonova Group since July 2024, Jakob previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Auterion from March 2022 to April 2024, where leadership was demonstrated in the architecture and development of a global elevation data web service. Prior experience includes work as an Autonomy Engineer at Aurora Swiss Aerospace GmbH, focusing on simulation scenarios for urban air mobility and software integration for autonomous flight vehicles, as well as an internship in supply chain management at ABB, which involved developing data visualizations. Jakob holds a Master of Science in Robotics, Systems, and Control and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from ETH Zürich.
