Nicholas A.

Nicholas A. has extensive work experience in various scientific and technical roles. Nicholas is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Sonova Group since April 2022. Previously, Nicholas served as the Co-Founder and CTO of Carbon Cybernetics from April 2017 until December 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Dexcom from August 2019 to April 2022. Nicholas also worked as a NIH Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from June 2018 to August 2019. Nicholas started their career as a Research Engineer at Cook MyoSite from April 2008 to April 2010. Nicholas holds a Ph.D. in medical device fabrication and was a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Melbourne from February 2013 to January 2017. Additionally, they were a Fulbright Fellow at the Fulbright Association from September 2011 to December 2012.

Nicholas A. earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Melbourne from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bioengineering (major) with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh from 2006 to 2011.
