Sami G.

Sami G. currently serves as the Head of IT Cyber Security Center of Excellence and IT Security Architect at Sonova Group since January 2021. From November 2016 to August 2021, Sami was an Independent Consultant at Amarach Consulting, offering expertise in predictive data analytics and software design to a global clientele. Prior experience includes a substantial tenure at UBS from February 2010 to January 2021, where responsibilities encompassed lead software development and engineering roles, focusing on business request analysis and legacy application management. Sami co-founded SelfAware Engineering from November 2014 to March 2019 and worked as a Systems Analyst at Jaree AG, where key contributions included web application development and data management strategies. Earlier experience at IATA involved creating a web-based communication tool for global airlines and enhancing Business Intelligence capabilities. Sami holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Information Security from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen.
