Sofie Jansen is a seasoned professional in audiology and hearing performance, currently serving as a Senior Expert at Sonova Group since January 2014. Sofie's career includes roles as an Expert in Hearing Performance - Amplification & Initial Fit and as a Research Audiologist. Prior to joining Sonova Group, Sofie worked at KU Leuven from December 2007 to December 2013 as a Scientific Employee and Researcher PhD Candidate, completing a dissertation on hearing assessment based on speech perception. Sofie holds a Doctor of Biomedical Sciences degree in Cognitive and Molecular Neuroscience, a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology Sciences from KU Leuven, and additional qualifications including certification as a hearing aid fitter and training as a qualified teacher in Speech Therapy and Audiology. Sofie also participated in an Erasmus exchange program at the University of Malta focusing on Communication Therapy.
