Tom Wilson

Tom Wilson is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at Sonovate since November 2018. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Global Risk Manager at Assurant from February 2014 to November 2018, where key achievements included the implementation of a Global Risk Framework, development of an integrated Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process, and establishment of a comprehensive stress testing framework. Tom also has experience as the European Head of Risk and as a Director at Blue Square Advisory Ltd, focusing on the development of Enterprise Risk frameworks. Earlier career roles include positions at Steamship Insurance Management Services Ltd, Direct Line Group, and NatWest, encompassing diverse responsibilities in risk management and customer advisory. Tom is an ACCA Fellow, with educational credentials including A levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Psychology from Norton Knatchbull School.
