Brett Carter has extensive experience in the software development field spanning over three decades. Brett began their career in 1991 at Wordperfect Corp./Novell, Inc./Corel Corp. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on various projects involving website building software, HTML software, database software, and personal information management software. Brett'sexpertise in C++ and MFC under the WINDOWS operating system contributed to the success of these projects. In 1998, they joined Quark, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Manager, where they played a vital role in creating a cross-platform client-server workgroup management system for the publishing industry. This system integrated with popular applications such as MS Word, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress. From 2002 to 2006, Carter worked at Breakthrough Management Group, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead, focusing on the development of a web-based application for project tracking. Brett excelled in areas including reporting, security, email, financials, and customization to meet customer requirements. Brett then joined Ferrell Companies, Inc./Explorer Software, Inc. in 2006 as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in document imaging and workflow application software used in the construction industry.
